The Iowa House of Representatives begins to play catch-up with the Iowa Senate on February 18 when a public hearing will be held about the COS resolution to call an Article V convention to reduce the size and scope of the federal government.
At 9:00 ET/8:00CT, a subcommittee of the House Committee on State Government will convene to hear testimony concerning House Joint Resolution 6. Watch on COS LIVE:
The House subcommittee's counterparts on the Senate side favorably passed the COS resolution following public testimony on January 29. As was the case then, the COS Iowa team will deliver a compelling argument in favor of calling an Article V convention to establish the necessary structural changes to keep the federal government in check for good, while simultaneously refuting the predictable lies and distortions about the nature of Article V and the convention process.
H.J.R. 6 has a total of 14 co-sponsors.
Start February 18 off right with another exciting day for COS at 9:00 a.m. ET/8:00 a.m. CT.
