The real work of the Convention of States movement is done on the ground, in the states, every day of the year.
A great example comes from Missouri, where a volunteer team set up a booth at the Manchester Homecoming to help spread the word about Article V.
"I had a degree from a prominent university, and I had no idea how our Constitution worked. Most people don't really know. They've never heard of Article V," said Patti Siegel, a volunteer with Convention of States Missouri.
The team spent the day talking to fair-goers, handing out materials, and helping people sign the Convention of States Petition.
