An important message: We appreciate the enthusiasm! But…

Published in Blog on August 23, 2024 by Article V Patriot

The Convention of States logo is a powerful symbol that we aspire will represent hope and grassroots change for millions of Americans.

However, we have many enemies in the federal government, the media, and other opposition groups who would look for any excuse to shut us down.

That’s why we must share this important message with you…

We’ve recently observed an increase in the use of the Convention of States national logo on state-created graphics, merchandise, and other materials. Although we appreciate the enthusiasm, this, unfortunately, is not allowed. To safeguard our brand and mission, we must adhere to proper legal guidelines. Fortunately, there’s a simple solution: each state team should have its own state-specific COS design, a unique twist on the classic trademark. We request that every team use this logo instead.

Here are a few simple guidelines to keep in mind:

Do:

1. Use Approved State Logos: Always utilize the official COS state logo for state-created graphics.

2. Seek Approval: Obtain permission for logo usage through your SCC, SD, or the COS Branding Department. This ensures alignment with our branding standards.

3. Follow Brand Guidelines: Incorporate the logo tastefully and in accordance with our established brand guidelines to maintain consistency.

Don’t:

1. Use Unapproved Logos: Avoid using unapproved COS or state logos or modifying them without explicit permission from the COS Branding Department.

2. Misuse Logos: Refrain from displaying logos in misleading or inappropriate contexts that could misrepresent our organization.

Protecting our brand isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about upholding the integrity of our mission. Consistent and proper use of our logo helps reinforce our credibility. When logo use is out of compliance, the content or site in question may be removed, per legal compliance. We don’t want to remove your hard work!

For more details, please visit our COS Branding Guidelines page. If you have any questions or need approval for logo usage, contact your SCC, SD, or the COS Branding Team.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication!

In liberty,
COS Communications
