Regional Captain Dennis Darragh and his team of COS Warriors represented the Convention of States in Tampa at the Florida State Fair from February 6-16. They recruited plenty of new volunteers.
The event was filled with people from all across the state, coming to Tampa to see the many great events at the Florida State Fair. The COS Tampa-area team had a table, a presentation on display, and volunteers such as Maxine and David ready to collect signatures.
They collected new petitions and received great support from the fair attendees, many hearing about Convention of States for the first time.
They distributed plenty of information and explained the mission statement and goals to the public to people from all across the state.
This fair truly made an impact on Florida with a staggering 600 signatures and counting. 
Events such as these assist COS as it continues to expand and gain support.
Even in a state such as Florida where we have already succeeded in passing the resolution, providing the public with information at events such as the Florida State Fair is what will make the difference in the journey toward an Article V convention as provided in the Constitution.
