Happy Independence Day Fellow Patriots!
July 4th, 1776, was the first annual celebration of our Nation. America, a time when Congress voted in favor of independence from Great Britain. During that summer, marking the first days of independence in 1776 there were mock funerals for the king, whose “death” symbolized the end of tyranny.
The end of tyranny!!
What followed was the unanimous Declaration of the thirteen United States of America free from tyranny and British rule.
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. --That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."
An Article V Convention of States stands for the Voice of the People.
"That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their Safety and Happiness."
At an Article V Convention of States to propose amendments, "We the People" will do just that.
