Censorship and Our 2 tiered Justice System

Published in Blog Opposition on August 29, 2023 by Steven Wagner

Depending on who you ask oft times will determine the answer you get to the following questions. 1) When did the US lose its focus on the principles that made her a beacon of hope for others? 2) When did the censorship of both truth and opinion become a cudgel to silence the voice of dissent among our citizens? 3) When did our justice system become, not only a tool to aid the Marxist cancel culture, but a multi-tiered means to silence those selected by its overseers?

In his new book "The Anti-Communist Manifesto" retired U.S. Marine Jesse Kelly writes about the goals and tactics of those wishing to categorically change the landscape of our nation. During a Heritage Foundation podcast Kelly stated several things regarding the questions posed above. First, the left seeks to silence Americans through fear and intimidation by “building verbal fences” around them, "Even if you can say this today, you can’t say it tomorrow,” Kelly told host Kevin Roberts, because they manipulate language and trap you with it “until you find yourself in a tiny little box, unable to say anything, afraid to say anything.” Simply look at what has been done to those who opined any dissenting opinions about the Covid vaccines, mask mandates, transgender men in women's sports et cetera.

Second, the left preys upon an apathetic public with lies and disinformation knowing full well that few if any will challenge their point of view; they in fact have few if any qualms about this tactic. Hillary's email server and electronic data wipe being normal procedure, Hunter's laptop being a Russian ploy, the fake Steele dossier...all said to be of no consequence. Oh, let's not forget an entire year of riots, looting, wholesale destruction and killings perpetrated in the name of a career criminal where no wholesale investigations were done to root out the perpetrators. All while citizens had not an inkling of due process from their escapades on January 6th. We now have the above mentioned multi-tiered justice system only it's based on your leanings religiously, politically and your value system.

More from retired US Marine Jesse Kelly:

"[a communist] understands he can use my morality against me and I can never use any kind of morality against him because he doesn’t have any. It’s why our traditional way of attacking them—of pointing out their hypocrisy—it’s completely useless.”

" Unfortunately, most people remain “apathetic” to the small shifts toward the left occurring in American society until it is right in front of their faces. Once they see it, Americans become outraged about drag queen story hours for kids or pornographic books in their local school libraries, Kelly said. They begin to ask, “‘How did that happen?’ Well, it happened because they seized a choke point in the city government” and placed a “malcontent” there.

"To gain a foothold in a country you find the malcontents, … recruit them, and use their anger and bitterness to burn down society,” Kelly said. They did this in Russia through the “urban poor,” in China through the “rural poor,” and in the USA through the civil rights movement to “all this LGBTQ stuff,” he said. ***Writers note, I would add ANTIFA and BLM to that group.

“Just find one angry, nasty feminist and put her in an H.R. department, and she will filter everything from there. The hiring, the firing, the training. She will slowly let her cancer spread throughout your company.” This is what happened to Disney, “Sesame Street,” and other popular businesses, Kelly said.

"To fix the problem, one needs to “put America out of your mind” and focus on local communities rather than just the national picture, Kelly said.

Nobody is “paying any attention to our city council, to our school boards, the garbage that’s being taught in schools … because we have this savior complex on the right where we think if we just win this presidential election or if the House can do this or the Senate can do that, it’ll make everything right. While these things do matter, “does it matter even a fraction as much as seizing our local communities back?”
Everyday Americans need to take action. “That’s what terrifies them the most,” he stated. “Normal people running for school board, running for city council, running for state rep. That’s what we can win. Forget about Washington.”
