Can We Trust the Constitution? Brett's Blog Archive - January 25, 2021

Published in Blog on January 31, 2021 by Brett Sterley, State Director, Convention of States Missouri

The 2021 Legislative Season is off and running. The Convention of States Missouri team is moving our Article V legislation, as well as promoting other pro-liberty issues.

The first committee hearing for the Convention of States Project was held last week in Montana. Dozens of COS volunteers joined Convention of States Project President Mark Meckler in testifying before the Montana Senate Judiciary Committee. Appearing before committee as a private citizen is an empowering experience. Our team represented themselves well, as usual.

Opponents were also present. One of the claims they like to make is that the delegates to the 1787 Convention violated their oaths. This is factually and historically false. In the article below, Convention of States Project’s Co-Founder Mike Farris addresses these claims. Enjoy!

For Liberty,

Brett
