Absurd! Biden's DOJ just appointed special counsel to investigate Trump

In breaking news for your Friday afternoon, Biden's Justice Department has just announced its intent to investigate former President Trump.

The news comes just three days after Trump announced he will run for president in 2024, an unmistakable threat to the Biden regime. 

"This is a totally expected political stunt by a feckless, politicized, weaponized Biden Department of Justice," a Trump spokesperson said Friday. 

War crimes prosecutor Jack Smith has been appointed to serve as special counsel to determine if Trump should face charges in multiple Department of Justice probes.

As COS endorser Charlie Kirk said, "Notice Merrick Garland appoints a special counsel for Trump's memorabilia spat but not for the Biden Family's corrupt foreign business deals." 

The excuses for the investigation are Trump's handling of classified documents and his role in the Capitol breach – now almost two years ago. Smith will be the one to determine if Trump faces criminal charges for these supposed offenses.

This just serves as another reminder of how politicized the federal government and every agency under Biden has become. We're living in surreal times in America and it's more important than ever to be speaking up, standing up, and fighting back against the Swamp – no matter how deep we may discover it to be.

After the raid of Trump's Mar-a-Lago home, Convention of States sparked a movement to End the FBI. We are still going after that same endeavor, especially with this latest abuse of power in the executive branch.

Almost everyone knows that our federal government is on a dangerous course. The unsustainable debt combined with crushing regulations on states and businesses is a recipe for disaster.

What is less known is that the Founders gave state legislatures the power to act as a final check on abuses of power by Washington, DC. Article V of the U.S. Constitution authorizes the state legislatures to call a convention to proposing needed amendments to the Constitution. This process does not require the consent of the federal government in Washington DC.

I support Convention of States; a national movement to call a convention under Article V of the United States Constitution, restricted to proposing amendments that will impose fiscal restraints on the federal government, limit its power and jurisdiction, and impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress.

I want our state to be one of the necessary 34 states to pass a resolution calling for this kind of an Article V convention.
