Position Overview
The Social Media Coordinator executes the day-to-day strategies that increase brand awareness, user engagement, and enhance the experience of Convention of States followers.
Under the direction of the Social Media Director, the Social Media Coordinator manages the content posting schedule for assigned social media platforms, writes social media copy, and identifies and tracks key performance indicators.

Responsibilities
- Manage content posting schedule across assigned social media platforms
- Write social media copy, including but not limited to post captions, video meta copy, etc.
- Monitor social media account activity.
Work with Social Media Director to identify KPIs and set trackable goals
Requirements
- 2+ years experience managing social media accounts
- Intermediate understanding of social media platform operations, including but not limited to: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube (Tik Tok, a plus)
- Impeccable copywriting, grammar, and spelling
- Experience reading and interpreting data
- Acute awareness of the political atmosphere
- Conservative political ideology
- Understanding of civics and America's founding history; news junkie (a plus)
- Video editing skills (a plus)
Pay
Convention of States offers pay commensurate with experience and skills. This is a full-time position that includes health benefits and vacation.
