The Convention of States New York team has been very busy!
We have sponsored booths at the 40th Annual Richmond County Fair in Staten Island over Labor Day Weekend and the Syracuse Gun Show on September 14-15.
This was our third invitation to the fair, and we had a strong showing with over 200 petitions signed and several new volunteers.
Both Janis Gregory and James McDonnell were fabulous representatives for COS. They spoke with passion about Article V, bringing multitudes to our booth to gather information and sign up.
Although the last day of the fair was basically rained out, we still managed to beat our numbers for the same time last year.
Our next event took us to Syracuse for the Semi Annual Gun Show. This was our first gun show, and it reaped with wonderful results!
On Saturday Legislative Liaison Gerard (Gerry) Allen and I were able to speak with many patriots, including veterans, who were keen on signing the petition and volunteering. Sunday was no different for our Grassroots Coordinator Lisa Zillioux.
We were even asked at both events to do presentations on Convention of States to various organizations. It was a win-win!

Our next booth will be at Oktoberfest on October 12 at Historic Richmondtown in Staten Island. This will be the third consecutive year we have been invited by the sponsors to host a booth.
I personally want to thank Janis Gregory, James McDonnell, Gerard Allen, and Lisa Zillioux for taking time out of their busy schedules to be at these events with me.
