Imagine your favorite eve-of-battle movie speech. Picture the hero’s army, outnumbered by the enemy but rallied to defiance by the stirring power of one man’s words. Perhaps Aragorn’s “It is not this day” speech comes to mind. Or William Wallace’s daring declaration: “They may take our lives, but they’ll never take our freedom!”
The fight for freedom today takes place on a different kind of battlefield. But the soldiers in this fight are still, at times, just as prone to hopelessness and despair.
That’s why we need a leader — someone to lead the charge with a battle cry of inspiration and resilience.
Enter Mark Meckler.
Every Sunday night at 8:00 p.m. EST, the president of Convention of States goes live across most social media platforms for an evening of raucous, uncensored, and unapologetically pro-freedom commentary. “The Battlecry with Mark Meckler” has garnered quite a following among the rank and file of the grassroots army, and it’s easy to see why. Mark is perpetually a happy warrior. Even on the dark days, when evil seems to shroud the light, he refuses to surrender — he refuses to raise the white flag.

While much of today’s news commentary is rage-based, Mark instead offers a tone of cheerfulness and hope. He takes his place on the frontlines, face to face with the enemy, where he boldly rebuffs despondency. To those tempted to believe that all is lost, that the fight for liberty is in vain, Mark’s leadership and example are a much-needed dose of encouragement.
