The White House is utilizing a proven method of getting their version of the message out about the crisis in Ukraine. They are using indoctrination by targeting Gen Z to spread their word.
White House press secretary Jen Psaki and National Security Council special communications adviser Matt Miller met via Zoom on Thursday with 30 TikTok content creators. These 30 are some of the most influential on the platform and the White House is bypassing the MSM and going right to the kids.
In addition to discussion of Ukraine, Psaki seized her opportunity with the kids to discuss the 2016 and 2020 elections and the Russians hacking computers to influence both.
Some of these kids may actually explore the White House message and report the truth. Others will take the WH message and echo it to their rabid followers.
There is no doubt that TikTok is a powerful platform, but it can also be dangerous if used by the administration to spread misinformation that will benefit Biden. But you have to remember the China connection to TikTok. Makes you wonder to whom the White House is really talking.
We have to be able to trust our government, and reeling in its power through the efforts of Convention of States is one way to counter this effort to influence the story.
