Christmas is over, gift cards are full, and you're all set to purchase gifts for the most important person on your list: you.

But before you start, did you know you've already bought millions of dollars worth of ridiculous gifts for yourself, courtesy of the federal government? The infographic below outlines seven gifts you, the taxpayer, bought in 2014:

If you're tired of government waste, there is still hope for permanent change. The Convention of States process can propose and ratify constitutional amendments that would force the federal government to be responsible with taxpayer money. That sounds like a pretty great Christmas present to us.
