Are you responsible for the state of our nation? And if you and I are not responsible, who is?
America is in a critical hour of her life. Service, responsibility, and commitment must become a part of our daily lives. The problem in America is serious and debilitating. It threatens the very core of our civilized society. The culture that we are being forced to comply with will cause us to be slaves to the elite ruling class. Our freedoms are at stake and society is saying if you do not comply, we will ostracize you from society.
The subject of equity is becoming a hot topic in our nation. Many local governments have already implemented this idea. Equity theorists say we are a racist nation and people need to be relieved of their oppression. Local governments are appointing unelected equity administrators who make laws that effect you.
These administrators declare that racism is a health emergency and that they must implement equity (fake-speak for socialism) to solve the problem. Washington, D.C., has been this doing for decades within the federal bureaucratic miasma. Swampism has now infiltrated your local governments.
This is dividing us as a nation into categories of race to gain complete control of each one of us. Once they take complete control, the elite will rise to the top and the oppressed will be more oppressed. Free stuff is always enticing but as the old saying goes "Free stuff is never Free."
When we are born into this world, we are owed nothing. Free citizens of the United States choose their own destiny. Poor and wealthy will always exist in society. The great thing about America is that if you work hard, you can achieve just about anything. Citizens are born with free will and choice and it isn't derived from the government.
The government does not have the right to take what you have earned and give it to someone else in an effort to make us equal. We all have the opportunity to be the best that we can be. Government exists to protect our property, not to take it and give it to someone else.
Our ancestors fought and some died for every right that we have so you could live in a land that is free. The America I once knew is faltering. We need to return the power and freedom to the people.
Our government has overstepped its authority when it comes to our freedoms. The Bill of Rights has become null in void with every action or inaction that they take. If you have been watching what is happening in our nation you understand freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the freedom of the press, the freedom to assembly and the freedom to petition are all tenable.
I could go on and on with daily examples of how our government infringes upon our rights.
God inspired our Founding Fathers with intellect, faith and courage. They gave us a Republic with a representative government that we are squandering.
Where do we go from here?
I believe we need to look at how our country came into being: the Great Commission!
This truth might seem "too religious” for some people because we have drifted so far from the founding purpose and conviction of our nation that some are blinded.
The first settlers had a conviction in their hearts to make their way to a country that would allow them to worship their God. They fled from terrible religious persecution and to gain the freedom promised to them in scripture.
“The Great Commission” says we are to be a beacon to the world and share Christ’s love. We are to be peacemakers, respect the sanctity of life, have good moral character, help those in need and to abide by the law of God.
Eighty percent of Americans profess to be Christians, but somehow, we kill our babies, we have removed God from our schools, we have become greedy and power hungry, we sell out our nation, corruption is rampant in our government. Marriage and family are a thing of the past. There is sexual exploitation everywhere we turn, drugs on every street corner, we have the highest per capita divorce rate, murder rate, violent crime rate and sexually transmitted disease than any other industrialized nation. The worst thing we have done is remove God from every institution in America. We have thrown Him out like the trash. All of this and more while claiming to be a “Christian Nation.”
We profess to be followers of Jesus Christ, but our actions say differently. We are in an advanced state of moral decay in our nation. God did not leave us, we left Him. We need to once again truly, seek providence.
God is worthy of our admiration. He is the one who allowed us to possess this great land, the one who has been there through every painstaking issue in America. He wants to restore our nation, He is just waiting for us to ask. We need to truly seek his face and turn from our evil ways. We need to once again, become a grateful nation instead of a thankless nation.
It is time to start the practice of knee-ology, that is to get on your knees and pray to the Lord above and ask Him to forgive us and pray for revitalization in our nation to return to our founding principles.
Parents, let us dare to discipline our children in true and clear obedience to the Word of God, who has made and preserved us as a nation. Pastors, start preaching and teaching the truth instead of what is politically correct. We need a renewal of the spirit of God in our lives.
Lincoln declared in his Gettysburg Address, “This nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom, that government of the people, by the people, for the people shall not perish from the earth.” Does this still hold true?
Let’s renew the soul of America in the resurgence of our service. God is worthy to be in the halls of our government buildings, our judicial system, in our schools and in our homes.
If we will not choose to serve, neither shall we be served, for ultimately each person will serve only himself. When each person serves only himself, our masters shall no longer be our servants but tyrants—and we shall have become slaves.
I am asking you to activate your circle of friends and family to sign the petition to call for a Convention of States and to practice knee-ology. Our Founders and our God provided this tool in Article V. We have a tool to repel the tyrannical government that is being placed upon us.
There are countless ways for citizens to engage as Patriots. I urge you to get involved with your school boards, city, county, and state governments. Hold your officials accountable, do not be blindsided with new laws and regulations that will be placed upon you by someone you did not elect to office.
While most everyone is concerned for the future of our country (under a federal government that's increasingly bloated, corrupt, reckless and invasive), not everyone is aware of Article V-- the Constitutional option where we can call a Convention of States to bring power back to the States and the people, where it belongs.
We are in a race to save our country.
