IV Amendment –
The Fourth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America guarantees that “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall be issued, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
This Amendment is critically important because it protects all American citizens from rogue or corrupt law enforcement agencies or agents thereof.
This Amendment was passed so that all citizens knew that they were legally safe from undoing harassment, persecution, and intimidation unless accurate and true probable cause could be presented to a court of law.
