West Virginia Senate Judiciary Committee to hear Convention of States application TOMORROW

Published in Blog on July 17, 2017 by Convention Of States Project

The time is now, West Virginia!

Your state's Article V application calling for an amending convention is going to the Senate Judiciary Committee on March 11th at 3:00 p.m. EST. The bill, SCR 21, needs your support to get it heard on the floor. This vote will decide the future of West Virginia’s application and help preserve the future of this great nation.

Citizens are encouraged to attend the hearing on March 11th at 3:00 p.m. EST in room 208 West of the West Virginia State Capitol. We’re going to pack the committee room and overflow into the hallways, so you won’t want to miss this opportunity to witness history in the making! We encourage everyone to arrive at least 15 minutes early to get a good seat.

If you’re unable to attend, you can still help. Click here to contact the members of the West Virginia Senate Judiciary Committee and voice your support for SCR 21.

If supporters would like more information they can contact Laura Fennig at laurafennig@cosaction.com.
