Between July 20th and July 22nd, several volunteers of COSA PA's West Region 1/2 shared a booth with the Butler County Patriots at Zelienople's Horse-Trading Days. The volunteers were able to answer questions and spread the COSA's positive unifying message to hundreds of western PA residents, while also providing an opportunity for citizens to register to vote.
People who stopped and showed interest ranged in age from 17 to couples in their 60s and 70s. A common theme shared by these citizens was a lack of trust in the government. Some even expressed outright despair about the state of our republic. Many grabbed information brochures and stated they would not only sign the online petition but also spread the word to others.
This event further provided an opportunity to meet individuals who represent various patriot organizations, both known and previously unknown. This afforded the sharing of information, strategies, and a step into the doors of these other organizations to potentially spread the word even further. "Good luck and thank you for what you are doing" were common parting words from visitors and patriots alike.
