Despite the set back at the committee hearing on Thursday (March 20), Team Hawai'i didn't FOLD!
Pulling themselves together with a renewed sense of duty, they happily swarmed the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall to hold a petition signing event at the Hawai'i Historic Arms Great Guns Gun Show on Saturday (March 22) and Sunday (March 23).
Over the two day event that saw 3,227 attendees, the team led by State Director Mark White, gathered 356 new petition signers shattering last year's numbers and setting a new milestone.
The Team included SGC Brett Kulbis, DC Jason Horstman, DC Julie Yamato, DC Lei Morolt, DC Teri Savaiinaea, DC Bob Fitzgibbons, Volunteers Cathy Horstman, Rita Kama-Kimura, Jim Ray, Signe Godfrey, Lori Nip, Chanara Richmond, Ijeva Bambridge, and Gene Morolt.
State Director Mark White commented..."This was our best Gun Show ever. Not just record petitions signed but the team's enthusiasm and camaraderie was the best of any show we’ve been to in years!"
