1. Letter to the Editor: Ohioans Not Edgy and Suspicious About an Article V State Convention

A misguided opinion piece titled, “Push for ‘Convention of States’ makes some Ohioans feel edgy and suspicious” was published in the Cincinnati Enquirer on July 11, 2024. It was written by Enquirer Columnist Dan Sewell.

In response to Sewell’s piece, the following letter to the editor was submitted on July 16 by COS Ohio State Communications Coordinator Diana Telles.

2. Trump announces COS supporter as VP

Former President Donald Trump chose senator, best-selling author, and Convention of States supporter J.D. Vance to serve as his running mate.

3. Mark Meckler interviews eyewitness to Trump assassination attempt

Patrick Klodt, who penned an op-ed detailing his experience at the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, spoke to Convention of States President Mark Meckler about his firsthand account of the event on the latest episode of “The BattleCry.”

4.  MECKLER: Miracles happen — Washington, Jackson, Theodore Roosevelt and now Trump

This moment in American history will be remembered and even mythologized. Burn this into your mind (it likely already is). Mark it on your heart. Record it for future generations to recall.

As the years go by, events like the Battle of the Monongahela and the assassination attempts on Jackson and Roosevelt acquired legendary status, becoming larger than life and almost unbelievable. But we have now witnessed such a thing in our times.
