Dave worked his entire life for his farm in Wisconsin, but the government took it from him in the blink of an eye. The state wanted federal money, and to comply with that, they needed to take part of Dave's farm to rebuild the road.
"Worked my entire life for that farm, my wife and I, and it was part of our retirement plan," he said, explaining why he got involved with Convention of States. "They didn't need it."
