WATCH: Q&A with Mark Meckler

Published in Blog on January 02, 2024 by Brianna Kraemer

Heroes are all around us, you just have to open your eyes and notice them.

During a recent Q&A at Living Stones Church in Indiana, Mark Meckler touched on heroism in today's turbulent world. He referenced little-known words from Ronald Reagan during his Inaugural Address of 1981: "Those who say that we're in a time when there are not heroes, they just don't know where to look."

The hero is your pastor, your grocery clerk, the person who wrenches on your truck when your truck breaks down. Heroes rise according to circumstances.

"If there's no call to heroics then the most heroic people don't look like heroes to you, they just look like your neighbor," Meckler said. "We are in a time where we are being called to be heroes. What heroism looks like right now is speaking up, is working when nobody else is working, is volunteering for Convention of States."
