Convention of States President Mark Meckler recently spotlighted three of America's brightest young leaders, Kailee Zimmerman, Emily Hamilton, and Olivia Buchanan, during a COS livestream, in which he urged grassroots activists to embrace their role in nurturing the next generation of American patriots.
“If we don’t take responsibility for it — those of us who are leading now — then who will?” he asked.
Thankfully, Convention of States has created a solution to address this void in American culture: a transformative internship, the Emerging Leaders Program, tailored to train young people in the principles and ideals of servant leadership, statesmanship, and American exceptionalism.
“[The Emerging Leaders Program] was really based on this idea that one of the most important things we can do is to leave a legacy, to leave a path and to teach people to walk that path,” Mark described.
