During a live broadcast of “The BattleCry,” Convention of States President Mark Meckler marveled at former President Donald Trump’s miraculous survival after an assassination attempt on Saturday.
“It is a very sad day for our country,” grieved Mark during his opening remarks, acknowledging the victims of the tragic shooting. “I can’t do this, and I can’t talk about this, without first talking about the other victims there,” he added. “You know, when you have an attempted assassination of a president, it’s such an incredible, unbelievable, stunning story that the other victims tend to get overlooked.”
He prayed that God would “bless and watch over” those who had been injured. Additionally, he honored victim Corey Comperatore, who “died as he lived, which was a hero.”
“He truly loved us enough to take a real bullet for us,” Comperatore’s daughter eulogized in tribute to her father, who shielded his family from the assassin’s bullet.

However, despite the horrors and tragedy of the day, Mark noted that he finds hope in watching Trump’s triumphant survival, which he described as “miraculous.”
Upon reviewing the footage of the shooting, he highlighted how narrowly the bullet missed the president's head, barely grazing his ear as Trump turned to examine an illegal immigration data chart.
“Don’t underestimate this moment,” the “BattleCry” host stated. “This is of historic consequence.”

“In my opinion,” he continued, “what you just witnessed was literally a miracle. Literally, in my opinion, God intervened in that moment and protected Donald Trump. I have no other explanation for that.”
“The Secret Service didn’t save his life. God saved his life.”
