If you are following the investigations in Washington you can’t help but wonder when will this nonsense end. In the seven months that Robert Mueller’s team has been investigating the Russian probe they have spent between $3.7 to $7 million dollars of taxpayers’ money and it keeps climbing.
What have we learned so far? We have learned that the investigation has gone full circle and things are now pointing back to the former President Bill Clinton and Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, simply called FISA or FISC, was persuaded to authorize surveillance on presidential candidate Donald Trump for collusion with the Russians to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. A dossier presented to a FISA judge to open an investigation was fabricated and paid for by the Clinton regime.
I have never seen a government function and operate with so much corruption and hate. When the unfortunate event happened in Charlottesville all the politicians and liberals were waving their banners that hate has no place in America. Well then, I’m not sure what you would call the attitude toward our current president. From Hollywood to Twitter and Facebook you can find an array of hateful comments and remarks.
Like him or not we all need to support his efforts. There have been presidents over the years that I didn’t particularly care for but I gave them a fair chance. If you take all the leaders in the world you will find that there is none that can be considered perfect.
The networks should be ashamed of themselves. They broadcast shows like Stephen Colbert and The View that constantly degrade and slander our president and country. But of course, these networks are total liberals and truly hate the president and they are trying desperately to brainwash the public.
This past year I have read more and researched more than I ever have, so that I have as broad a knowledge and understanding of what’s going on in our country as possible. There is one thing for sure and that is that our government is broken and in disarray. Can it be fixed? You bet! The preamble to the United States Constitution starts out with “We the People…” That means you and me.
So, what is at our disposal that will give us the power to take the government head on? Article V of the United States Constitution which states that “The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution...” meaning the Constitution can be changed. “...or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments...”.
The second part of Article V gives us the power to call, through our state legislatures, a Convention of States to amend the Constitution. For more information on Article V and the Convention of States go to your computer and Google “Convention of States.” If you don’t have a computer, go to the library where they have plenty for you to use. While reading up on the Convention of States sign the petition and volunteer. I am one of two District Captains for our district and I encourage you to get involved. Until they stop me I will continue to use the Letters to Editor and other avenues to encourage action by “We the People.”
We should all be mad and begin saying we are not going to take it anymore. Stand up and fight, America, the time has come.
