Our West "by God" Virginia passed our resolution on March 4, 2022, becoming the 18th state. Later that month South Carolina followed suit, bringing us to 19. Here is a link to our video: Victory in West Virginia #18.
We must keep our own state legislators hearing from us in matters important to us, for our own state. Every year, since we passed our resolution, our team has identified several bills that our team wants the legislature to pass, and we focus on them. Building relationships with legislators, are critical.
We also have different efforts to encourage other states to pass our resolution.
In August of 2023, we hosted a Convention of States Simulation, a 3 day event in historic Williamsburg, inviting commissioners from all 50 states to experience a convention, click this link to watch the video: COS Simulation.
