More than nineteen million American’s swore an oath “to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that ‘they’ will bear true faith and allegiance to the same…”
These rare “many” put on the uniform, took up arms, and wrote a check to their country to pay in full with their life, their treasure, and their sacred honor. These brothers and sisters in arms are the ones remaining of the multi-millions who served and died to protect our country and our way of life.
For each and every living veteran in our population today, there are another five people who are their ardent supporters. These are the fathers, mothers, siblings, children, and friends of those who served. If one includes these friends and family members, as the number of “true veterans” in our population they are equal to or are greater than one hundred million people (nearly one third of our population).

“What is driving me and all the Convention of States Veterans I talk to are the domestic enemies (political elites and oligarchs) destroying our republic with a move to Marxism,” said Rodney Huckleberry, the COS National Team Member charged with consolidation of veteran support.

“The Woke social agenda and political agenda of the Department of Defense top brass and suits is part of our structural problems with the federal government that the Convention of States and a convention could fix," Huckleberry went on to say.
“There is an invasion at the border by illegal immigrants whose treatment is so much better by this administration than the treatment of homeless vets, disabled vets, vets with PTSD. This is wrong. Why provide preferential treatment to those who do nothing for this country instead of our veteran heroes and their families who have sacrificed everything for us?” Huckleberry challenges.
"There are 100 or more Veteran Service Organizations in each state. We need many Veterans Coalition Director leaders to help build partnerships with the organizations. Veterans are 8% of those signed up in support of Convention of States. Our goal is for 20% to be Veterans," he explained.
"To reach this stretch-goal, we are focused on a concerted organizational approach to reach our veterans. This means, strategy, tactics, training, and tools for our state teams. We have veterans’ coalition mentors to train and support new members of the Veterans coalition," Huckleberry added.
Huckleberry's role is to serve and support the Veterans Coalition Directors in each state so they can recruit Veterans and develop partnerships with Veteran organizations.
"This is all about the Veterans being a very large voting constituency that should unite in the Convention of States honoring our lifetime oath in the battles to support the Constitution and defend our country from the march toward Marxism by our domestic enemies," concluded Huckleberry.
