There I was, watching the 2021 Army/Navy game, and I know nothing about football … zippo … zilch. I’m a veteran soldier, but I don’t just cheer for the Black Knights, nor do I cheer for the Midshipmen. I’m proud of both teams and want them to have fun because at the end of the day, both teams are on the same team you and I are on. We’re all Patriots.
When these young men and women graduate from their academies and report to permanent party units, some of them will train every day for missions they hope they never have to do, but all of them will fight for our country. They took the same oath you and I took a few gray hairs and 15 pounds ago. “I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic…”.
Sadly, we have domestic enemies and false leaders at the helm of America today. As veterans, we must show legislators and the billionaire elite that our uniforms might be in a closet, but we’re not. We’re not going away. We’ll keep fighting for our country via this Convention of States project, where Article V of the Constitution gives us the right to petition for amendments, and we’re pursuing three big ones that will:
- Control government overreach
- Establish term limits
- Mandate balanced budgets.
Today, our mission as veterans is this Convention of States endeavor, and all volunteers are sorely needed and deeply appreciated. If you wish to contribute to the COS grassroots activism, please visit Convention of States and sign our petition. Better yet, sign up to be a Volunteer.
Be sure to ask other veterans, coworkers, family, neighbors, and every American to sign a petition for their country at cosaction.com
Thank you for your service and sacrifice to our great country (again!), and God Bless America
