Vermont committee considering Convention of States application

Published in Blog on July 18, 2017 by Convention Of States Project

Our Convention of States team in Vermont had a great meeting on Tuesday in the House Judiciary Committee and Channel 3 WCAX was there to report on it!

I found it interesting that, in last sentence of the report, the anchor states: "The resolution, though, is not ultimately expected to gain the support of Vermont's Legislature." It sounds to me like it's time for them to hear from all of us, don't you think?

We need all our supporters in Vermont to call and email the members of the House Judiciary Committee and ask them politely to allow a public hearing of the Convention of States resolution, J.R.H.9., and let the people of Vermont decide it's fate.

CALL TO ACTION: Please call the committee members listed below.

Here is also a link to all of the committee members, which lists alternate phone numbers and email addresses.

Please invite others to join us by having them sign our petition.
