After watching some of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, I am more convinced than ever that great swaths of our nation are governed by totalitarian fascists and most of the media are acting as their propaganda arm.
Ever since the FDR era, increasing numbers of Americans have been lulled into a false sense of security because they are willing to accept controls from an unconstitutional central government, consistently out spending the mind-boggling amounts of revenue it receives through taxation.
The taxed and borrowed money is lavished on handpicked, privileged corporations that promise to create a better world "for the people." Top level bureaucrats help their corporate benefactors by assisting them in writing lengthy and cumbersome legislation passed by a mostly bought off congress that collectively fails to read the byzantine gobbledygook they vote to approve.
What does Kyle Rittenhouse have to do with this? He exercised his freedom in defense of his community because the corrupt government refused to defend it. America can't have Americans acting like Americans. No. We must act like the grateful children of an abusive parent who is our only source of life and health.
Liberty has no place in that societal model. If you really want to get "woke” start asking why our own government is hell bent on bankrupting us for the benefit the corporate overlords it serves.
We have only one legal means by which this runaway train of totalitarianism can be brought to a stop. We must use the Constitution to save the Constitution. The states must use Article V of the U.S. Constitution to retake the governing authority that has been taken from them through bribery and coercion over the past hundred years. Get on board and help us.
