In the Piney Woods of Texas, across the boundary waters of Texoma a small group of patriots seek to answer the questions, “Do we want to have the freedom to speak, own a gun, go to a church of our choice, and live in a society dedicated to smaller government?”
This is where Jim Perry’s strong patriotic urges were percolating. This is where he became acquainted with COS volunteers who had the answers he was looking for. Self-governance and extricating the People from an increasingly tyrannical and oppressive central government was possible through an Article V, Convention of States.
Like so many COS volunteers, Jim was responding to the Lord’s urging him toward involvement in the Convention of States Movement. So many freedom loving-patriots happen to be people of faith.
All people have within them a yearning for freedom, placed there by the loving Creator. The Founding Fathers were driven by the same love of liberty that motivates us today. We are not created to be in bondage to tyrants but to live free and to preserve the great blessings of freedom to generations not yet born.

I want My America back, the way it was designed;
The way the founding fathers and I, formed it in My mind.
America began for everyone, to worship as they choose;
To give Me honor and respect, with blessings I approved.
Something happened as time was passing, the lust of man ran free;
Power and greed became their god, and they forgot about Me.
The sins of man began to grow, without considering cost;
And if I do not intervene, the America you knew is lost.
The lust for power began to grow, you say you have it all;
Thinking you know what power is, you are headed for a fall.
I formed it all with My Word, creation did not evolve;
Knowing answers, you do not have, problems you cannot solve.
You made one fatal error though, deciding you are smart;
No Heaven or hell for you to go, denying your own heart.
I put the truth inside of you, so you would call on Me;
That I would take the blinders off, so you could finally see.
Here we are at crossroads path, and now you must decide;
Tormented in the pit of hell, or part of Christ's New Bride.
Repent right now and turn to Me, before it is too late;
Pick now, it is time, you can choose your own Fate.
America is a place I love, I made it for the brave and free;
It is not a place you can destroy, unless you take on Me.
My Word is true, and in my Book, I keep it right on track;
Mess with me, you will regret, I want my Country back.
