On 2 August, some of our Petersburg WV COS volunteers assembled on main street to prepare for the Tri County Fair Parade. We were the 38th entry in the lineup of over 200 participants!
After 6pm, we started marching and we observed that this was the largest parade ever for Petersburg. The turnout was stunning! We really had a great opportunity to shine, and believe we did! We handed out 200 fliers promoting Convention of States with links to sign up, along with COS buttons, stickers, Constitutions, Pocket Guides, over 50 pounds of candy, and COS pocketknives. We equipped our crew with block walker T-shirts.
We are looking forward to seeing new faces at our monthly meetings and building our district with more supporters and volunteers! Join us on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7pm, at 2099 N Fork Hwy, Petersburg, WV 26847.
