There's Thuggery Among Us

Published in Blog on June 21, 2022 by Gayle McCowin

The left-wing group “Ruth Sent Us” took SCOTUS intimidation to a whole new level when they recently doxxed the addresses and personal information of the Supreme Court justices.

With the 2020 rhetoric from Senator Chuck Schumer calling for violence against Supreme Court Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, the liberal Left fails to see or even care about the harm in intimidating the nation's highest court.

A law clerk, working with and in complete confidence of not just one Supreme Court justice but all nine justices, failed to safeguard the draft opinion that likely indicates an overturning of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision.

This most likely intentional leak happened for one reason: to change the opinion of the court through inciting fear and intimidation. The highest justices in our land are being attacked and this behavior goes far beyond what our Founding Fathers ever saw coming.

The intimidation tactics of recent events go strictly against the ability of the judicial branch to remain separate and co-equal. The radical Left wants nothing more than to have power and influence over our Republic, whether it’s packing the court or through thuggish behavior, like the near assault on Justice Kavanugh’s life. Meanwhile, the Justice Department, part of the executive branch, does nothing to protect the justices.

The Founding Fathers feared that one day the judicial branch would be overrun or controlled by one of the other two branches. Recent events demonstrate that they intend to influence the legal system to favor decisions of one political outcome over the other.

Like other recent tactics, radical Leftists are doing their best to erode our constitutional Republic from every angle. It’s time we stop them. The highest title in our Republic is “Citizen.” It is our duty as citizens to protect the founding principles of this great nation.

Article V of the US Constitution gives “We the People” the ability to initiate and call a Convention of States. It's the solution as big as the problem – a federal government that is not representing its citizens by enforcing laws and our Constitution.
