It’s clear that the swamp is moving quickly to enact regulations and edicts that are antithetical to our founding principles. Our country is on the wrong path. Our federal government is increasingly bloated, reckless, and corrupt.
We are in a race to save our country.
While there have been and still are numerous attempts to hold an Article V Convention, only Convention of States Action (COS Action) has come close to the finish line, and we're still going strong! As of this writing, 15 states have passed the resolution, and every state has active teams fighting hard.
The army of COS Action holds in its ranks over 2,000 district captains, almost 200,000 volunteers, and well over 2,000,000 petition signers with thousands more signing up every single week. It is truly a movement of, by and for the people, and if every American defends the liberty our ancestors fought for, we can save our nation!
COS Action Maryland has had some important successes, but these successes could be much more significant with a dramatic increase in support. That’s why COS Action Maryland has launched the 50K Race to Liberty campaign.
Our goal: Double the number of petition signers in Maryland to 50,000 by collecting 25,000 signers before year’s end.
- 25,000 signatures in 2020 resulted in most impactful Committee hearing, unfortunately the session ended before our Committee voted on the resolution.
- 50,000 signatures in 2021 will get their attention and put this at the forefront of the 2022 legislative agenda.
In using Article V of the Constitution, We the People, acting through our state legislatures, can propose Amendments that will rein in federal overreach, put fiscal restraints on spending and place term limits on federal officials, the members of congress and even the Supreme Court.
