The Peach State Patriot
Volume 1 Issue 2
Welcome to the all new COS Newsletter, the Peach State Patriot. We plan to publish a new issue every two weeks to keep you informed of what's going on in our state. We encourage your input for posting events and ideas, as well as suggestions for improvement. This is your newsletter, so we strive to publish what is most informative and helpful to you.
Congratulations to Shannon Haynie, Regional Coordinator for both Regions 4 and 5, who won the naming contest for the new newsletter saying "I just thought it had a nice ring to it. Plus, I wanted the name to be inspiring. I could imagine patriots defending the orchards and farmland of Georgia. There is so much natural abundance here and so many wonderful people who call this state home; hopefully we can unite and rise up to keep Georgia a beautiful, bountiful place to live". Well said Shannon, and thanks for the great new name!
