taproot, Marshalling Liberty

Since our great Republic was established, internal forces have strived to dilute our great heritage and crumble our great experiment. In the last 100 years, these forces have made huge gains towards those ends.  

Thomas Jefferson on Education: "The objects of this primary education determine its character and limits. These objects are To give to every citizen the information he needs for the transaction of his own business; To enable him to calculate for himself, and to express and preserve his ideas, his contracts and accounts, in writing; To improve by reading, his morals and faculties; To understand his duties to his neighbors and country, and to discharge with competence the functions confided to him by either; To know his rights; to exercise with order and justice those he retains" by Thomas Jefferson, 1818. 

With interference from varying federal agencies, our education system is continuing to fail our children citizens on many fronts, including US History, Civics, and critical thinking skills. 

As COS Action presses toward an Article V Convention of States, to put the federal government back into the box as originally designed, we also encourage citizen activists to get more involved in government at local, state, and federal levels.

Some, like Todd Williams and S. Marshall Wilson, are taking their efforts into other areas. They are putting their talents and skills into a podcast, “taproot, Marshalling Liberty.” Diving back through the ages, they discuss and explain the values and virtues of our founding fathers and mothers, as they understood the attributes and failings, the true nature of humankind. The Judeo/Christian values and the Greek and Roman principles, upon which our US Constitution was deliberately and faithfully crafted, debated and finalized in September,1787.
