Ruth Weiss from Election Integrity Project CA was the guest speaker. She updated the audience on ways we can participate with EIPCA and stay informed on legislative action alerts.

One of the items she spoke on was the fact the because of the shutdowns, all court procedures are done online. A great way to get involved to help the cases filed by EIPCA is to volunteer and be available to take part in the hearings via ZOOM. Ruth stated that this makes a huge impact in the cases they have filed in California.

I would also like to note that several of these organizations are national, so research them and see if the district you are located in can connect with a local chapter of one of these wonderful organizations. Who knows, maybe there is a summit in your area you have yet to hear about!

We were able to spend nearly five hours with these groups, networking and then were able to give a 2.5 minute presentation on our organization.

The event was held at Zito's Pizza, mask-free, social-distance free, and handshaking encouraged.

We met some incredible people and had some great conversations. Being a part of this gathering gave me more hope than I already had that California is not a lost cause. You watch!
