Senator Chris Kapenga is listening

Published in Blog on April 23, 2018 by Joanne Laufenberg

Here are three opportunities for Senate District 33 constituents and Convention of States supporters to tell Senator Chris Kapenga how disappointed we are that the Wisconsin legislature did not introduce our Article V resolution to limit the federal government's scope, spending, and terms of office.

Contact Regional Captain James Jones (262-894-2311) if you'd like some help. He has literature, experience, and may be able to join you.

Ask Senator Kapenga the following questions:

  1. How does he plan to protect Wisconsin from unfunded federal mandates and even higher taxes with the Balanced Budget Amendment?
  2. How does he plan to restore our foundational liberties or abrogate unconstitutional Supreme Court decisions, executive orders, congressional nonsense, and regulatory mandates?
  3. How does he like having the federal government empty the Social Security fund and cause economic recessions with their banking and loan mandates?
  4. If we don't limit the scope of the federal government, who will pay for the $120 trillion in unfunded liabilities in 10 years? What will happen 50 years from now when Social Security and Medicare surpass the annual tax revenue?
  5. Will he promise to fill out the COS survey we send to all candidates and legislators next month?
  6. Will he champion the Convention of States resolution in 2019?
Remember to always be nice and respectful but make your wishes clear.

Feel free to use your smartphone and record his responses. Share them with us so we can post them. Share them with your friends and on social media.
