See through Profligate Govt.

Here is someone who breaks the mold by standing out from the crowd and succeeds by taking risks while learning from failures.

Riva-Melissa Tez is a remarkable young woman who has a most intriguing personal history. She surely has not followed a straight line path and has had to overcome much adversity.
Her story includes having been in dire poverty early in life, including living in a homeless shelter in London while taking care of her schizophrenic mother, whose husband (Riva’s father) had abandoned their family. For some time, their total monthly income was about $70, so Riva learned the value of money the hard way, landing a part-time sales gig at 15 by lying about her age; she excelled, driven by her desire to help her mother and aided by her insatiable reading of books related to sales techniques, human behavior, psychology, and much more. Intelligence, drive and persistence can eventually pay off in an economically free society where there is some opportunity for breaking free of poverty.
Riva became an entrepreneur by starting a toy store in her neighborhood that successfully operated for 7 years.

Today, she is an author and a tech-focused speaker in demand with a worldwide following.
Having lived and worked in the UK and in Germany, she finds her home now in America, acting as an Angel Investor where her talents can be applied as she focuses her attention on AI companies that can boost humanity in practical health (longevity) terms by exploring the intersection between human behavior and technology (again - her mother’s mental illness is a key motivator).

Here she comments on the excesses and inefficiencies of government when compared with those of private enterprise and the individual entrepreneurs who risked it all and now run such profit-making enterprises. We all know what happens to companies if they cease to earn more than they expend - they eventually go out of business. Government never operates that way - and Riva points this out, recognizing the inherent waste and calling it out for all to see.
Witnessing spendthrift bureaucracies worldwide, we see that federal governments are the least likely to police themselves and rein in spending that ultimately damages their economies, be it in the UK, Europe, America or elsewhere .. where we see debt to GDP ratios are inexorably on the rise. Increasing taxation cannot suffice to save such structural imbalances.

However, the Cavalry is here and we need to call it in.
One very effective means of accomplishing meaningful and lasting change to limit such excesses is via an Article V Convention under the aegis Convention of States.
At Convention of States, we strongly uphold and protect the Constitution and encourage all interested parties to research us, sign our petition (calling for amendment topic proposals supported by a majority of fellow citizens).
We can achieve these goals without relying on Congress, which has yet to police itself.
The 3 topics/issues to be addressed in an Article V Convention are as follows:
1. Term Limits for Congress & Bureaucrats in Washington DC
2. Fiscal Responsibility
3. Reduction in the size and scope of the federal government
