Beginning Tuesday, January 16, Sean Hannity began promoting the Convention of States on his New York-based talk radio show (NY WOR 710 AM, 3:00pm-6:00pm).
This is a wonderful opportunity to spread the word from coast to coast about Article V and the Convention of States.
Known for his free-wheeling, passionate commentary on politics and the American agenda, Hannity has become one of the most popular radio personalities nationwide. As host of Premiere Radio Networks' The Sean Hannity Show, syndicated to more than 500 stations and heard in all of the top 50 markets, he has a loyal listenership of 13.5 million.
Sean has been working diligently to inform his listeners of insider goings on in D.C., now and in the past presidential administration, so we don’t want to call into his show just to thank him for his support of COS.
COS supporters inadvertently overpowered his radio show’s call screeners last week. While we want to support Sean’s efforts to share the power of Article V with his listeners, we must be cautious not to become a burden.

So, what can we do to support Sean Hannity you ask? We can show our support by thanking him directly on his Web site or on social media:
If you are inclined to call into his radio show, here are some tips for being a great call-in guest:
- Topics matter and Hannity talks “News of the Day,” so you should stick to a current news item.
- “Be concise and be nice” to the call screener. Remember: The call screener is the “gatekeeper” to getting on Sean’s show.
- Think small sound bites and sentences.
- Explain how Article V can solve that problem without the need for Congress or the federal government and then thank Sean for supporting Convention of States.
