Run, Chicken, Run! 50th Annual Chicken Burn coming to Wauwatosa

Published in Blog on August 18, 2019 by Sarah Peloquin

The Wisconsin Conservative Digest, hosted by Bob and Jean Dohnal, is inviting you to its 50th Annual Chicken Burn*.

While PETA may have some issues with the rampant destruction of domesticated barnyard fowl, this event draws hundreds of conservatives from all over Wisconsin due to its great speaker lineup, including three senators and a Wisconsin Supreme court Justice, awesome issue engagement, and of course the great food.

This poultry inferno and the accompanying picnic are free, but donations are welcome.

Children are welcomed, though parents may wish to shield the little tykes’ eyes from the trauma of blazing birds. Mrs. Southeastern Wisconsin will offer comfort and rally the crowd with a pleasing rendition of the National Anthem.

Convention of States is absolutely plucked to be one of the many booths—along with Wisconsin Right to Life, WI Grandsons of Liberty, and more.

Volunteers at the COS booth will be on hand to answer questions about Article V, America's last hope for returning to its roots. They’ll be coming up to scratch on the important issues of fiscal responsibility, judicial power limitations, and term limits for our federal officials.

Be a good egg and join us on August 25, 2019, from 1-4 p.m.!
