Rep. Ken Ivory's Exclusive COS Blog Series Unveiled!

Published in Blog on January 04, 2024 by Brianna Kraemer

As 2023 drew to a close, Convention of States turned to Utah Rep. Ken Ivory to find out more about the "Just Say KNOW" plan. Ivory is behind a strategic initiative by Patriot Academy designed to restore the rights of the sovereign American people. However, an unexpected outcome emerged. With Ivory's passion for Convention of States and the vital role of Article V, he not only shared insights but expressed a fervent interest in crafting an entire blog series for the COS website.

We're excited to introduce Ivory's educational blog series, where he'll delve into how We the People can navigate the political landscape, assert our constitutional rights, and tackle the serious and urgent problems facing our nation head-on. In the "Just Say KNOW" series, Ivory will serve as your guide, teaching Convention of States grassroots the ropes of effective advocacy. His focus? Empowering you to take charge and show government bureaucrats who's boss. As Ivory writes in his initial article, "YOU are the sovereign – “the boss” of our American governing enterprise."

A stalwart in the fight for constitutional principles, Rep. Ivory wears many hats – Utah State Representative, Ambassador at Patriot Academy, Attorney, and Author of the insightful "Where’s the Line? How States Protect the Constitution." As the president of the inaugural Simulated Convention in 2016 and chair of the committee to limit federal jurisdiction, he has been at the forefront of the battle to protect our constitutional rights. In 2023, he served as a Utah commissioner at the Simulated Article V Convention, further solidifying his commitment to the cause.

"We need to KNOW how to leverage our voice through organizations like COS. When we can leverage our voice, we speak on behalf of dozens in a club, hundreds in a group, or even thousands in a city or tens of thousands in a county. As we learn how to leverage our voice, eventually we can speak with the voice of the millions of people in our entire State to restore constitutional order in America … before it’s too late."

Prepare to be informed, inspired, and armed with the knowledge to make a difference. Let's unite and make our voices heard. It's time to "Just Say KNOW"!
