What a great trip to Lansing for Region 4 today! It was great to meet everyone in person and build our Convention of States Michigan family.
A group of us met with my Rep. Mark Tisdel (HD 45). Mark voiced his concerns about the process and how we can ensure the convention delegates act appropriately.
The team successfully gave Rep. Tisdel the facts around the process. We also presented him with graphs around the national debt, terms of Congress, and the growth in petition signers in our district. Overall we still have work to do, but it was great to feel like a part of the process in Lansing.
This trip made us all aware of how to navigate meetings with our legislators and make our voices heard.
