Reaching Supporters of the Second Amendment

On September 8 and 9, the Connecticut team staffed the Convention of States table at a gun show in Orange. There was nearly non-stop involvement with people, explaining Article V of our Constitution and our project’s goals to engaged patriots.

State Director Maureen Zollo, Dennis Crowe, Richard Legg and Bill Guiffredo attempted to entice each and every passing person into a conversation, as they sought to help our citizenry understand the facts about the Constitution and federal overreach.

In all, over sixty people signed the petition. We included a call to action, informing them that signing the petition was just the first step; that telling others what they know of Convention of States is essential to our success. Many people thanked us for being there to do something about this Country’s dire situation.
