The Biden administration took advantage of “Transgender Day of Visibility” on Thursday, March 31 (who knew?) to lash out at “hateful bills” being passed at the state level (10 States so far). The message was,

“They’re really scary and some of them in particular that are denying medical services to trans youth, those are lifesaving medical treatments…”

Of course, these “lifesaving medical treatments” are really according to the majority in the medical profession “life threatening” transitional hormone treatments along with surgical alterations for “gender confused” k-12 children that studies show lead to lifelong physical problems and even suicides.

Biden, in a brief message told the transgender community in America, “the onslaught of anti-transgender state laws attacking you and your families is simply wrong.” The president said his administration “is standing up for you against all these hateful bills. And we’re committed to advancing transgender equality in the classroom, on the playing field, at work, in our military and our housing and health care systems.”

Just released news confirms this: "Kilolo Kijakazi, Acting Commissioner of Social Security, announced that the agency will offer people the choice to self-select their sex on their Social Security number (SSN) record. The agency anticipates this option will be available in the fall of 2022.

“The Social Security Administration is committed to reducing barriers and ensuring the fair treatment of the LGBTQ+ community by updating our procedures for Social Security number records..”

Meanwhile, the rest of the world is facing the greatest geopolitical crisis since World War Two: War in Eastern Europe, heightened tensions in the
Mideast with Iran and a build up of troops by China at the Taiwan straight. Instead of focusing on ramping up Americas ability to produce more oil and gas to secure our nations vulnerability during this crisis and after failed attempts to beg Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, and Iran for more oil production, our Commander in Chief has just put in process for the third time in his administration the emptying of our “strategic oil supply” to the tune of using up 160 million barrels by June (1 million barrels per day, the same amount the Keystone Pipeline he shut down first day in office would have supplied us with indefinitely) dropping that supply to the lowest level since 1980!

I guess this allows him to have more time to focus on “having the back” of the transgender community in America. It’s all about priorities.

The problem is, according to Article I Section 8 of our US Constitution, the Federal government does not have the right nor the authority for “advancing transgender equality in the classroom, on the playing field, at work, in our military and our housing and health care systems...” but as stated in the first declaration of that Article, its top priority should be to “provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States.”

I think it is high time for “We the people” to call for a Convention of States as listed in Article V of our Constitution to pass amendments that will put the Federal government back focusing on its responsibilities and keep it from meddling in areas where it has no Constitutional jurisdiction!
