Inflation, shortages and supply chain issues, increased crime (almost without consequences), unbridled illegal immigration, censorship and “cancel culture”, questionable election practices, medical mandates, attacks on our constitutional rights...
The list goes on and on. And all of this is happening under a federal government that seems incapable or unwilling to address the issues we are facing, yet continues to spend trillions of dollars on their own wish list.
The problems we are facing as a nation can be overwhelming and you might be thinking, “Isn't there anything I can do?” The answer is, “Well, yes you can!” Because...
THERE IS A BIG SOLUTION!
Our founding fathers gave us "a Republic, if you can keep it" (Benjamin Franklin). And they intended for us to keep it! Most of us know about the Second Amendment, intended to give “We the People” the means to fight a tyrannical government, should it ever come to that (and knowing the true nature of man, they knew it would come to that).
A lesser known, but potentially more powerful accommodation is Article V of the U.S. Constitution, which gives the states the authority to amend the Constitution and by doing so, override a federal government that is out of control!
To amend the Constitution in this manner, a two-thirds majority of the states (34) must pass a resolution for a Convention of States. This process is currently in full swing. 19 states have already passed the application, with 3 more on the brink of doing so! Convention of States is focusing on constitutional amendments that will:
1. Impose spending limits on the federal government
2. Limit its powers
3. Impose term limits on its officials and members of Congress
