Oklahoma District Captain publishes 'Fed Up'

Published in Blog on March 08, 2021 by Susie McCleskey

Convention of States Oklahoma District Captain Larry McCall (OKC and Moore) has published his first book Fed Up. As you can guess from the title, he's fed up with government overreach.

Aren't we all? The question is what can we do about it? We all know an Article V Convention of States to limit federal overreach is a priority, but Larry offers his take from a pastoral and educational background on bringing solutions back to the local community.

Larry addresses four God-ordained institutions: the family, the community, the church, and the government. They have each abdicated their responsibility to big government, which has led to higher taxes and inefficiency.

The family has abdicated its role to care for, nurture, and educate children. The community has failed to raise up leaders. The church no longer cares for and feeds widows and orphans, and the government's role as protector through the military and police has expanded beyond anything it was intended to be.

Fed Up addresses these categories and gives hope to those who are looking for answers to bring these issues to the local community. As a strong supporter, Larry is giving back a percentage of the royalties for Fed Up to support the Convention of States movement.
