Convention of States Michigan recently held its first Oakland County town hall meeting with a good crowd and lots of participation from all in attendance.
State Director Jim Distelrath presented the Intro to COS Presentation, and State Representative Mike Webber (HD-45) shared the value of an Article V convention from a legislator's point of view.
We introduced our new District Captain from HD-45 Janet Rajcevski, who was a big help in getting the town hall organized and completed. Her whole family was there to lend a hand in setting up and taking down the presentation. Special thanks to Joe, Alex, and Nic.
State Videographer Harry Akers was there to video the event and lend his support where needed. We were able to get nine new petitions signed and eight new volunteers for the cause.
Upcoming town halls are being planned for Mount Clemens and West Bloomfield in the next few months.
