In a recent interview with Christopher (Chris) Wolfe, District Captain for MI House District 24, Canton Michigan, Chris noted: “I've been watching what's been going on in our great country over the last 20 years and realize that I have to do SOMETHING!”
The list of concerns voiced by Chris was extensive but not surprising; uncontrolled borders openly inviting invasion, the breakdown of law and order across our country, out-of-control government spending, high inflation rates, federal agencies vastly over-stepping their authority, lack of transparency resulting in highly suspicious agency actions and absurd ideologies being imposed by broad sectors of our government.
What could he do?
The first thing he did was to research multiple sources to discover everything he could about the deteriorating state of our government and find people who shared these concerns.
Listening to one of Mark Levin’s radio shows, Chris first heard about the Convention of States (COS) movement and wondered if COS might be a way for him to help in some way.
The more Chris learned about the Convention of States and the ability to use the power of the states to rein in the excesses of our current federal government, the more he recognized COS may well be a solution big enough to counter the untold damages done by our current out of control federal government.
Why should we care?
Chris’s research led him to conclude that “some political groups want to protect EVERYONE's right to disagree with the government and be free to speak out without fear of retribution. Otherss want to PUNISH any disagreement with the government narrative”.
Chris notes, “My dad and his brothers all fought in WWII to protect that freedom for all US citizens so now it's our turn to fight for it!”
