The monthly meeting for Convention of States Action (COSA) in southeastern Pennsylvania was held in Plymouth Meeting, PA on January 4th, and we had another great turnout of motivated patriots, including a lot of new faces.
Highlights of the meeting included:
Host – The meeting was hosted by Regional Captain Ruth Hoskins. She engaged the audience through enlightening Q&A which set a very productive tone for the meeting.
Presentation – Gary Engelman delivered a PowerPoint presentation on a Convention of States which focused on:
1. Evidence that our federal government is badly broken and requires a systemic remedy
2. Process for establishing a Convention of States
3. Remedies that will absolutely prevent a runaway convention
Videos – Several short videos were shown to demonstrate the need for a Convention of States, including a video of President Biden hastily signing a stack of 65 bills into law in just 10 minutes.
Buddy System – We rolled out a new process where newcomers at our monthly meetings introduce themselves and are immediately assigned to a specific District Captain to assimilate them into our organization. The process worked well as we engaged 10 new potential volunteers.
