Tim Barton runs one of the most recognized organizations in America dedicated to the study of the Christian foundations of the United States, and he is the featured guest on the April edition of COS at Home.
COS at Home is hosted by Convention of States Action regional director and political liaison Jonathan Viaud, and airs live on April 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Watch by clicking below:
Tim is president of WallBuilders, which was founded by his father, David Barton, who is an official endorser of COS. WallBuilders aims to educate Americans about the political and Christian foundations upon which the republic was founded and has grown, and does this by utilizing its massive collection of original historical documents and writings of the Founders to enlighten and edify.
WallBuilders takes its name from the Old Testament story of Nehemiah, the cup bearer of the Persian king Artaxerxes. It is written that, upon learning that the walls of Jerusalem laid in ruins, Nehemiah was granted permission from Artaxerxes to journey there and rebuild the walls of the city, which he did in 52 days. This story serves as an inspiration and informs the work of the organization.
Tim and Jonathan will discuss the work of WallBuilders, COS, and what the potential elimination of the Department of Education could mean for education in the U.S.
As always, this edition of "COS at Home" will also feature timely updates about Convention of States Action's significant progress across the country already this year, as well as informative segments highlighting the grassroots, all produced by the talented Garrett “Producer G” Humbertson.
You can be a part of "COS at Home" by participating in the Minutemen Mailbag segment. Questions that may be read and answered on the program can be sent to the Minutemen Mailbag via this link.
Be sure to join us on April 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET for our conversation with Tim Barton and the latest on all things COS. See you there!
